406th Occupier - Introduction

The 406th Fighter Group had its own internal publication, the "Occupier" to chronicle the events of the unit during World War II. The issue reproduced here was released just after the conclusion of hostilities and reports the 406th's history while the iron was still hot. The Group was fortunate to have a cadre of men who were capable when it came to writing, photographing and publishing historical materials.
