Squadron Histories

Introduction

In addition to the 406th Fighter Group's publication "Occupier", the 512th and 514th also produced booklets for their members just after the war. These efforts, especially the 514th publication, do a good job providing the Squadron's history with a few anecdotes and many photographs included. The 513th is believed not to have published their own booklet. Instead, presented here are selections from 513th pilot Howard Parks' scrapbook, compiled in 1992 and for now, only covering the first few months of duty. The rest will be added at a later time.
